Ainsley Teaser

Here is the first of several photos to come from my visit with Hudson out to WA to meet my new niece, Ainsley. Look out for some more in the next few days when I have a chance to load more pictures. This is the first time us sisters have been together since Rebecca's wedding so we took lots of pictures... including some of us wearing our matching shirts (thanks Mom!). We also sang several versions of sister songs, watched SNL sister themed skits and did what Wolff girls do best... ate lots of ice cream and cheese-its while watching girly movies and taking turns holding sweet Ainsley. Hudson just mostly sat happily on the floor and pulled at Amorette's dogs tails as they walked past.

Ainsley Grace

We are pleased to announce the safe arrival of our niece Ainsley Grace on Aug 29th born to my sister Amorette and her husband Ethan. Hudson and I are flying up to meet little Ainsley next week so more photos to come!

7 Months + Bye Bye Helmet!

We went to the orthotist yesterday and good news that the helmet phase of Hudson's short life is over! We are so thankful that it only lasted about 10.5 weeks rather than the 4-6 months that was originally stated. The orthotist attributed this fast treatment to Hudson having some good growth spurts. Hudson weighs in at a little over 22lbs according to our bathroom scale. We feel every pound of it when we carry him. He is getting really active and still far from crawling. He can't seem to get his entire stomach off the floor. We are enjoying the peace before the whole new world of crawling changes our everyday life. Hudson is also enjoying life with his two bottom teeth and we are thankful to report that he can eat yogurt! This doesn't seem like a big deal but we were happy to dodge the whole dairy allergy this time around!

Peek A Boo

Hudson Growling

Hudson has replaced his snorting with growling! He also has started babbling "nanana" "mamam" and "bababa" but I don't have it recorded yet!

Too Many Goldfish

Here is what happened to Maddie after eating goldfish crackers a couple weekends ago. We gave her some Benedryl which helped the swelling to go down after a couple hours. I called her doctor's office to let them know what happened and if there is anything else I should do. Basically the nurse tried to tell me this happened because she was coughing too hard from possibly choking on the cracker. Hum?
